Hill

The Hill Kitchen was Kurt’s first kitchen project 17 years ago! It was constructed from 170 year old reclaimed barnwood with finger and dovetail joints. Upper cabinets have a mixture of glass front cabinet doors and open shelving. Base cabinets were painted red with a black glaze. Backsplash is white subway tile. The island has a gustavian faux finish and maple butcher block countertop.

The multi colored hutch features a maple top and a tongue and groove back. Red diamond shapes and block legs on the hutch and desk add weight to the pieces. The desk has an open letterbox hung above.

The kitchen has a white beadboard ceiling and medium stained pine floor.
